Ministries
At St. John’s we strive to love God and our neighbors through a host of ministries that connect us to our community, and beyond.
We work with ecumenical partners at 2nd Presbyterian Church to provide free, hot lunches to the community on a rotating basis.
WARM (Waynesboro Area Rescue Mission) Shelter Meals
We work with the area homeless shelter to provide breakfasts and lunches on a rotating basis.
WARM House Shelter
for Women and Children
We sponsor a room for a mother and her children by providing furnishings and other essentials to aid in this transitional housing program.
We work with other area Episcopal Churches to raise money and awareness for the educational needs and teacher salaries for our partner school, St Marc’s in Cerca-la-Source, Haiti.
Agape Fund
This is an endowment managed by elected parishioners which can be used to support short term emergency funding needs for individuals, families, or organizations that are connected to Waynesboro or the surrounding Augusta County area.
